On the 17th of September, a significant milestone in India’s infrastructure development will be achieved with the inauguration of YashoBhoomi Convention Centre, know its location and the closest metro station

YashoBhoomi is the phase one of India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC) in Dwarka, Delhi. This state-of-the-art convention center stands as a testament to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of creating world-class facilities for hosting meetings, conferences, and exhibitions on a global scale.

With an impressive total project area of over 8.9 lakh square meters and a built-up area exceeding 1.8 lakh square meters, YashoBhoomi ranks among the largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities worldwide.

PM Modi will officially open the new metro station at Dwarka Sector 25, establishing a connection between YashoBhoomi Convention Centre and the Delhi Airport Metro Express line and in addition, YashoBhoomi provides one of the biggest exhibition halls in the world, which may be used to organize business events including trade shows and exhibits.

This complex boasts 15 convention rooms including the Main Auditorium, the Grand Ballroom, and 13 meeting rooms, collectively capable of accommodating up to 11,000 delegates.

The main auditorium is the heart of YashoBhoomi. It can accommodate 6,000 guests comfortably. It features cutting-edge flooring technology that allows for flexible seating configurations. The auditorium’s acoustics and architectural design ensure an unparalleled auditory experience, complemented by its state-of-the-art dynamic flooring.

The Grand Ballroom with its distinctive petal ceiling can host up to 2,500 guests. Additionally, it offers an extended open area accommodating an additional 500 people by providing a versatile space for various events.

YashoBhoomi boasts one of the world’s largest exhibition halls, spanning over 1.07 lakh square meters. These halls are poised to host exhibitions, trade fairs, and business events of monumental scale. A grand foyer connects these exhibition halls, featuring a unique copper ceiling that filters natural light through skylights, creating an inviting atmosphere.

The foyer also houses essential support facilities including media rooms, VVIP lounges, cloak facilities, a visitor information center, and ticketing services.

YashoBhoomi connectivity

YashoBhoomi benefits from excellent connectivity through the Delhi Metro and Airport Express Line. The extension of the Delhi Airport Metro Express Line will link Dwarka Sector 21 to the brand-new metro station at Dwarka Sector 25.

Cultural heritage in YashoBhoomi’s design

YashoBhoomi proudly showcases elements inspired by India’s rich cultural heritage. Terrazzo floors with brass inlays, reminiscent of rangoli patterns, and suspended sound-absorbent metal cylinders. These create a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. Illuminated patterned walls further enhance the aesthetic appeal, providing a distinctive ambiance.

Sustainability

YashoBhoomi places a strong emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art wastewater treatment systems by enabling 100% wastewater reuse. Rainwater harvesting and rooftop solar panels contribute to reducing the carbon footprint. Recognizing these efforts, the campus has received the prestigious Green Cities Platinum certification from the CII’s Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
