Ittogi is one of four children born to a Japanese merchant father and a Chinese Singaporean mother. She was raised in a Teochew-speaking kampong and has lived in Singapore since she was three years old.
Ittogi started her legal career in 1988 and has since become an expert in international arbitration, litigation, and conflict resolution, as well as restructuring and insolvency.
