Chelsea star Thiago Silva fumes at EA FC rating and accuses decision makers of not watching games

Thiago Silva was left fuming after finding out his EA FC rating had plummeted compared to last season’s stats.

Much like his teammates, the 38-year-old has endured a difficult 12 months at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea racked up an underwhelming 12th-placed league finish.

And the Blues have got themselves off to a slow start this term under Mauricio Pochettino with one win from their opening four games.

Sadly for the Brazilian, Chelsea’s underperforming displays appear to have had a negative effect on his rating ahead of the brand new EA FC video game launch.

Before the big reveal, the Blues defender was asked whether he thought his stats were going to be better than last year’s rating of 86.

He replied: “I think I’ve stayed the same or even gone up because I’ve had more stats go up than down, right?”

But the Brazilian’s hopes were quickly dashed when it was revealed that he has dropped to 84.

Clearly unhappy with the rating, he fired back at EA claiming that the decision makers have not been watching his performances properly.

“They’re not watching any games, they’re watching them like this,” the defender added whilst placing his hands over his eyes.

Despite the overriding disappointment, Silva was still handed admirable stats in the popular video game.

He was given 51 for pace, 54 for shooting, 74 for passing and 72 for dribbling. Unsurprisingly he pulled in a hefty 87 for defending and 74 for physical.

When asked what he can do to convince EA to boost next season’s rating he said: “I think obviously offensively I can improve because I didn’t score a single goal last year. This year, I think I can improve my attacking stats a bit, because defensively I’m good.”
