Chelsea fans laud link-up play between Moises Caicedo and Kendry Paez as teenager makes Ecuador history

Ecuador stars Moises Caicedo and Kendry Paez have left Chelsea fans dreaming of the future after their dazzling displays against Uruguay.
The pair put on a show in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier as they helped Felix Sanchez’s side emerge as 2-1 winners.

After a slow start to his Blues career since his British record £115million transfer, fans will be delighted to see Caicedo put in a dominant performance.
He even chipped in with an assist, after his corner was headed in by defender Felix Torres on the stroke of half-time.
Meanwhile his 16-year-old midfield partner Paez, who was signed by Chelsea earlier in the summer, provided the match-winning assist.
Torres was again the scorer, where he had the simple task of tapping home into an empty net following Paez’s wicked delivery from the left flank.

Due to his age, the teenager, who became Ecuador’s youngest-ever international player, will continue his development at Independiente del Valle until 2025.
And Chelsea fans seemingly cannot wait until Paez makes the move to Stamford Bridge in two years after being taken aback by his link-up play with Caicedo.
A stunning one-touch move between the pair in the first half led to a chance for Ecuador, who failed to convert the opening.
The pair enjoyed a quickfire five-pass combination, including one-touch passes, before Caicedo found the run of Enner Valencia with a exquisite lofted through ball.

A fan shared a clip of the incident on social media, with the caption: “One touch play between Paez and Caicedo and then a glorious long ball from Caicedo.”
Fellow Blues supporters were quick to comment, as one user replied: “Wish we could put this Paez fella into our XI now.”
Another messaged: “Bruh that makes me so excited lol.”
A third added: “Is there no any chance this kid can just come in June next year? 2025 is soo far.”
This fan then remarked: “What in impressive and outstanding exchange.”
Meanwhile one stated: “Kid has something special, being that good at 16 is mental.”
And another simply said: “Chelsea’s future is in good hands.”
