He is part of Jurgen Klopp’s £145m midfield revamp, with the Reds also signing Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo in the summer.

Having been deemed as surplus to requirements by Thomas Tuchel at the Allianz Arena, Liverpool are hoping the 21-year-old will shine in the Premier League.

Upon his arrival at the club’s AXA Training Centre, the ex-Ajax star was greeted by his national teammates Van Dijk and Gakpo.

Next up was Robertson’s turn to introduce himself, where he poked fun at the pair in front of Gravenberch.

Shaking the three-time Eredivisie champion’s hand, the Scottish left-back quipped: “Finally a good Dutch player!”

Liverpool shared the exchange on Instagram, with supporters loving the wholesome content.

Commenting on the post, one fan said: “If Robbo ever leaves the club….WE RIOT!.”

Another joked: “Nah Robbo was foul for that.”

A third added: “Robbo immediately with the patter.”

This user then commented: “We must protect Robbo at all costs.”

Meanwhile another simply stated: “Robbo is hilarious.”

Unfortunately for Liverpool fans, they will have to wait until after the international break for Gravenberch’s debut.

He will play no part in Sunday’s clash against Aston Villa at Anfield due to being registered too late.

Instead he will likely get his first taste of English top-flight action against Wolves at Molineux on September 16.
